Our firm works with other professionals to achieve each client's goals.

Sometimes our firm may be the initial point of contact for clients seeking legal help with Elder Law, Estate Planning or Special Needs Planning needs. Our clients often have existing relationships with CPAs, financial planners, insurance professionals, banks, brokerage houses, trustees, home-health agencies, care managers, or nursing home facilities. Othertimes, such professionals may refer their clients to us for legal services. We serve as part of the client's team, and we work in partnership with other such professionals to provide the highest quality planning, drafting and follow-up services to meet the client's needs.

Some of the services we can provide to other professionals include:
  • Advice to banks, trustees, conservators, guardians, and corporate fiduciaries regarding public benefits, such as Medicare, MO HealthNet-Medicaid, Social Security disability benefits, Veteran's benefits

  • Review of clients' existing legal plans to determine if revisions are necessary due to changes in circumstances

  • Representing nursing home residents in applications for MO HealthNet-Medicaid appeals of Medicaid denials or termination, or planning in connection with initial application for benefits.

  • Counsel pertaining to special needs planning, such as for disabled children, incapacitated parents or spouses, "spendthrift" children, or special asset protection situations.

  • Associating counsel assistance to other attorneys in connection with any services that we perform and with which their clients need our assistance.

This multi-disciplinary approach will ensure that the right plan is designed and implemented to meet the needs of clients, regardless of age.
